Most IT companies can’t keep up with a startup
Startups don’t grow in a straight line. After a funding round you might double headcount in a quarter, open offices in new countries and land enterprise customers who want to see your security policies. IT built by hand breaks under that pressure. Ours is built on automation from the start.
- Automation first – new hires, devices and apps provisioned by workflow, not by hand
- Identity at the center – single sign-on and MFA for every app from day one
- Zero-touch devices – laptops ship straight to employees and set themselves up
- Built for 10x – the same system works for 10 people or 500
- Security that passes diligence – ready for SOC 2, enterprise customers and your next round
A decade of Bay Area startups
We’ve helped startups grow from the first hire to the exit
For more than ten years we’ve been the IT team behind San Francisco Bay Area startups – setting them up early, scaling them through hypergrowth and supporting them all the way through.
Fintech
Even Responsible Finance
We worked with Even from when it was just four people – building their offices, networks and IT systems as they grew – all the way to its acquisition by Walmart.
Climate tech
Lilac Solutions
We took Lilac from a team of six to around 200 users across sites in Nevada, Utah and Chile – then handed the keys to their own in-house IT team.

100+ new employees onboarded in three months
When Lilac hit hypergrowth, they needed to onboard more than 100 people in a single quarter – in the Bay Area, at remote sites and overseas. We built an automated pipeline, starting with an integration into Gusto, their HR platform, so every hire moved from signed offer to working laptop without anyone chasing paperwork.
Offer signed
The moment a candidate signs their offer in Gusto, a ticket opens automatically.
Hardware ordered
We procure the laptop, monitors and everything else on the new hire’s list.
Accounts created
Their identity, email and app access are created through single sign-on.
Device configured
Microsoft Intune pushes apps, security settings and policies automatically.
Ready on day one
We set up in person or ship overnight to remote employees – ready to work at 9am.
Sites and teams around the world
As Lilac expanded we supported sites in Fernley, Nevada, Utah and Chile, plus team members as far away as London – with consistent networks, security and devices everywhere, and the same fast onboarding for every new hire.
Graduating to an in-house IT team
When Lilac grew big enough to run IT themselves, we trained their new internal team of five and handed over our systems, documentation and playbooks – a smooth transition with nothing left behind.

A full office network in five days
Even was moving into a new office – and had a major investor meeting on the calendar. Everything needed to be up, organized and looking professional, and we had five days to do it.
We overnighted equipment, drove to our distributor’s warehouse to pick up gear straight off the loading dock, and worked through the night to have every system running before the investors walked in.
- 6–10 Wi-Fi access points for full coverage
- Redundant firewalls so the office never goes offline
- Stacked network switches, cleanly installed and labeled
- Ready on day five – organized, tested and investor-ready
- A Slack automation for IT requests, so employees could get help without leaving the tool they already used
Zero-touch deployment
Apple Business Manager + Microsoft Intune
Every laptop is registered to your company the moment it’s purchased. When a new hire opens the box – in the office, at home or on another continent – it enrolls itself, installs your apps and applies your security settings automatically. No imaging, no shipping laptops back and forth.
- Macs and iPhones enrolled automatically through Apple Business Manager
- Windows PCs set up with Windows Autopilot and Intune
- Apps, Wi-Fi, VPN and security settings pushed to every device
- Lost or stolen devices locked or wiped remotely
- Company-owned devices stay company-owned, even after a reset

How we build it
IT designed for rapid expansion
Identity & single sign-on
One login for every app, with MFA everywhere and access granted by role – so a new hire gets exactly what they need, automatically.
HR-driven automation
Integrations with HR platforms like Gusto trigger onboarding and offboarding the moment something changes – no emails, no spreadsheets.
IT requests in Slack
Employees ask for help, new software or equipment right from Slack – with automated routing, approvals and tracking behind the scenes.
Instant offboarding
When someone leaves, their access is cut everywhere at once and their device is locked and recovered.
Multiple offices, worldwide
Networks, Wi-Fi and security for every new office – standardized so each site looks and works the same.
Network design →SOC 2 & security reviews
Enterprise customers and investors will ask about security. We put the controls in place and help you answer the questionnaires.
Compliance support →Grow with us

Our philosophy
We want you to outgrow us
Startups we work with often outgrow us – and that’s the goal. We bring a playbook built over ten years of working with Bay Area startups to help you through your most critical years.
The perfect outcome is that you graduate: by selling the company, or by getting so big you build your own IT department. Either way, we’ll make sure you leave with clean systems, documentation and a team that’s ready to take over.
- A proven playbook refined over a decade of startups
- Clean, documented systems that pass acquisition due diligence
- Training and handoff for your future in-house IT team
- No lock-in – your accounts, your data, your devices
